Which sentence is the hypen used correctly?

1. Molly- my beagle- loves to fun in the field.
2. She wore her hair in a closely-cropped style.
3. Jan's house was painted light-blue
4. We stayed at a first- class hotel.

I picked light-blue

Unless you remove the space after "first-" none of these is correct.

#1 needs dashes, not hyphens
#2 doesn't need a hyphen between an adverb and the adjective it modifies
#3 doesn't need a hyphen between an adjective and the noun it modifies
#4 would be correct IF the space before the word "class" were deleted.
