Homework Help: Algebra

2(3x-6)-3(5x+4)=5(7x-8)
For this equation, I keep getting .36363636363636363636 repeating. Is this right? I think I am doing something wrong...Please help, thanks

6x -12 -15x -12 = 35x -40
-9x -24 = 35x - 40
44 x = 16
x = 4/11
That is the same as your repeating decimal. Your answer is correct, but would be better written as a fraction
