Let's start with the verb -- the word that shows action. The verb is call.
Then, ask "who is doing that action?" Who call? That gives us the subject. People is the subject.
People call
To find the direct object, ask "what do the people call?"
People call Philadelphia.
That gets you started. Is there an indirect object -- a word that tells "to or for whom or what?"
Is there an object complement -- a word or phrase that modifies the direct object?
Please post your ideas, and we'll be glad to check them.
