Homework Help: thesis revision

While the colors associated with Holi are the main part of this celebration, the true reason for celebrating Holi is to keep the evil spirits away. Not only is Holi a joyous, colorful festival to celebrate with friends and family, but it is also meant to celebrate the death of winter and evil, whereas the colors used in this festival represent the arrival of spring.

i need help on thesis. my whole essay is posted below some of the posts.

anyways, i was reading it kind of seems like in my thesis, i'm saying even though colors have an important role in this festival, the true reason of celebrating is to get rid of evil.

However, i want to say that colors also play an important role, but the meaning of this festival goes beyond the colors because it also celebrates of victory of good over evil.

so how would i change my thesis that would support my essay. i want to say the colors and the good over evil in this festival are celebrated equally.

i don't know if you understand what i'm trying to say i tried my best to explain myself.
