(23/2 + (41/16) =

find the common denominator of 16

(184/16) + (41/16) =

add numerators

(184 + 41)/16 = 225/16 =

reduce to lowest terms.

I don't see anything that will divide into both 225 and 16 to reduce it.

Check my thinking. Check my arithmetic.
