How do you do these probelms?

1. 7p+11=-31

2. 12-7y=-2

3. 2z-4-z=4

4. 10-5h+2=32

5. 7k-8k=1

6. 10-d=19

7. 9x+5-4x=-20

1. Subtract 11 from both sides, to get rid of the 11. Then solve for p.

7p+11=-31

-11 -11

7p=-42

Then divide by 7 to get rid of the 7.

p=-6

Does that help?

7p+11=-31

7p = -31 - 11

7p = -42

p = -6

Follow this pattern for solving the rest of the problems.
