Homework Help: radical equation - no solution right?

Posted by Nik H. on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 7:23pm.

radical sign (w + 5) = 2

In all my problems there are a letter variable on the end

example:

radical sign (-u + 30) = u

I then square both sides, drop the radical sign then
(u+6)(u-5)=0
then check to see if they are both true

I guess my question is this is a no solution problem right?
