Should I set the problem up this way:

3/5=36/x

x=60 male employees?

**Quidditch**, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 7:16pmYou are on the right track. The problem states that the company has 36 male employees. I think you intended to say x=60 FEMALE employees.

Now you know the number of male employees and the number of female employees. Add the 2 numbers to get the total employees.
