a power point allows you to show visuals to a classroom which can help explain a certain topic more clearly
however a pointpoint can distract and take away from teh presentation foras a class may be focusing just on the screen not on your actual speaking in the presentation and a powerpoint normally is just point form meaning the class wouldnt be getting full information if they arn't paying attention to you as the presenter
