is a chemical reaction and chemical change the same if not what is the difference?

A chemical reaction is a change in which a substance reacts with a different substance usually to create a different substance or compound.
A chemical change is a change in the chemical makeup of a substance usually ending with a different sunstance but the beginning substance doesn't necessarily hev to react with anouther different substance.
