SraJMcGin's excellent site gives the number of Asian mountains over 7,000 feet -- but there are many more mountains under 7,000 feet. I don't know that anyone has counted the number of mountains between about 2,000 and 7,000 feet in Asia. Over half of Asia is covered with mountains.
