Homework Help: science

I am currently learning about skeletal system and I had trouble filling in some of the blanks.

The ________________ consists of bones running along the medial part of the body. I said axial skeleton, but I am not sure.
The ________ consists of bones proximal to the body. Would appendicular skeleton work for this blank?

If appendicular skeleton is correct for the second blank, then axial skeleton is what you want for the first.
