A cylinder has a radius of 5 in. If the volme of the cylinder is 250p in.3, what is the height of the cylinder? [Hint: The volume of a cylinder is given by V = pr2h.]

Just insert the values into the formula and solve.
V = (pi)r^2h
V = 250 cubic inches (in^3)
pi = 3.1416 (or you could round it to the nearest hundredth)
r = 5 inches (r^2 = r times r)
h = your unknown.
Solve for h.
I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
