Ok, so I came up with part an answer for the question I posted, hoping that someone can compare with me. I..this is what I did....

found the displacement of car before red light, time it takes for the car to accelerate to its velocity, after the red light, the time of the car before the red light, and the total displacement of the train (which I dont know if that can be done or not) Does this sound right? I am most definite I am missing parts? But what?

Thanks
