Homework Help: science

My daughter has to design and construct a rubberband powered popsicle stick speedboat which will propel itself across a pond for a distance of 2 meters and hit a 40 cm. target. She can use 12 popsicle sticks, 6 soda straws 4-6 rubberbands hot glue sand paper and a drill. Can you HELP? PLEASE!
