Homework Help: math

can you guys check if this is correct?

"the cross- sectional area of a circular duct is 226.865 square inches. what would be the diameter of the duct"

A= pi(r^2) = 226.865 in^2

r= sqrt [ 226.865/ pi ]

r = 8.497845

d = 2r
= 17

the diameter is 17 inches


Right. I get 17 inches also.
