can someone plz tell me in which U.S. state are the most automobiles registered?

In 1993, California had over 17 million registered automobiles, about double the number of the next highest state, Texas.

oh thank you, but i can't download adobe software and i just need to make sure if california is the highest state for 2007 so i need a webpage and i can't download a pdf file.
Statistics usually take a year or more to be tabulated and published. However, I'm sure since California had almost double the number of car registrations than the next highest state, it's safe to say that California still has the most registered motor vehicles.

The 1993 data showed the following car registrations in millions:
California: 17.3
Texas: 8.88
New York: 8.75
Florida: 8.07
The other states had lower numbers of registrations.
