Homework Help: Math

Given g(x) = print_coeff(m,1)x print_const(b), find g(print_coeff(n,1)a)

I was told that the answer for this is a. However, I have no idea how to solve it. Please help me understand.

I have no idea how to interpret what you have written. It is not standard algebraic notation.

That is what I thought.. Nevertheless, they are offering extra credit to solve it.
