what is the target market for coolsavings web site. I would say for families but do they target other people?

Families? Families don't spend money, only the adults do. As I see it
1) target folks trying to save a few dollars by clipping coupons
2) target folks who are not computer savy (that website installs high risk tracking software on computers that download anything from that site).

I would have to say, from the above, the target is folks who shop on the internet, who are not computer sauvy, and who are looking to save money by biting into gimmicks.

Is this the site?

I believe its target audience is mothers with children at home. This information at the top of the page is intended to appeal to the person who shops for food and clothing for their family. In my experience, it is usually the mother who does most of the shopping.

"Sign up now to get the best deals for your family!
Find money-saving offers from stores and brands you love. Save big with printable grocery coupons, babies & kids offers, free stuff, pet coupons, diet offers, free samples, travel coupons and much more."

what benefits does this site emphasize for participants?

The paragraph above summarizes the benefits the site offers shoppers.

I have read that children of almost all ages spend a great deal of money. Just look at the advertisements on many TV programs. They are directed to children.

When children get older they have sources of money form gifts,g grandparents, working and from pestering their parents.

The target market for the coolsavings website appears to be primarily families, specifically mothers who shop for their families. However, they also target people who are looking to save money through coupons and deals. The website emphasizes benefits such as printable grocery coupons, offers for babies and kids, free stuff, pet coupons, diet offers, travel coupons, and more. By providing these benefits, the site aims to appeal to individuals who are looking to save money on a variety of products and services. Additionally, it is worth noting that children of various ages are also seen as potential consumers, as they spend their own money or influence their parents' purchasing decisions.
