Homework Help: arithmetic

ok I dont know how to multiply 600x3/8 then subtract it. Could you please show me how. That math place doesnt realy help me. I get 1800/4800 right?? how do i break it down without it taking forever?

Basically, you multiply the numerators (the numbers on the top of the fractions) and then you multiply the denominators (the numbers on the bottom of the fractions). You end up with another fraction.
