Homework Help: Art

Posted by Emily on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 4:34pm.

Do you need special schooling to be a baker? Is there a certain steps you take to be a star baker?

Some bakers get their training on the job working with trained bakers. There is professional training available.
This is a good site for what great bakers need to know.http://diplomaguide.com/articles/Professional_Baker:_Career_Diploma_Description.html

I'm sure many bakers learn on the job as apprentices to professional bakers. But, taking classes in culinary arts, especially baking and pastry making gives people a firm background in this art and makes them more employable. Check this site.
