Homework Help: maths

find the gradient and y ntercept of the line with equation: y = 9 - 4x

choose the one option which gives the gradient and one option which gives the y intercept from the list below.

-9, -4, -9/4, -4/9, 4/9, 9/4, 4, 9

can any1 help me this is very confusing.

The gradient is commonly called the slope, the coefficent of x.


y= -4x + 9

In this format, one can see the gradient is -4, and the y intercept (when x is zero) is 9
