ok, the question was "is the following ratios equivalent?" the ratios are 3:5 and 5:7. my answer is "no". is that right?

you are correct. The way to know is divide the 3 by 5 and the 5 by 7 If the numbers are different, the ratios are not equal. Get it?

your correct u need to divide 3 by 5 and divide 5 by 7 if the awensers u get after dividing are diffrent then the ratios are diffrent
