how can I use the big Idea of Energy to explain how energy flows through the food chains in the rock pool?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Likewise, you do not seem to be sure about what information you desire.

What organisms are in the rock pool? Do you want to discuss the catabolic actions of metabolism of various food sources within each organism?

In my thing there is: shore crabs, small fish, shrimps, whelks, plankton, sea anemones, seaweed and seagulls.
Plz give me a hand on what the Big Idea of Enery does in the rockpool and how it works!
