Sandra baked 2 dozen cupcakes.
She frosted one half with pink icing.
One eighth she covered with yellow icing.
The rest were chocolate.
How many cupcakes were chocolate?
How did you get the answer

24/2=12 pink
24/8=3 yellow
3+12=15
24-15=9 chocolate

9 chocolate
