I had to fill out a chart stating the properties of certine shapes(parallelograms). Some of them i put to many properties please tell me witch ones i have wrong.
The properties to select from:
1-Opposite sides are parallel (both pair)
2-Opposite sides are congruent
3-Diagonals bisect each other
4-Diagonals are perpendicular to each other
5-Diagonals are congruent
6-All sides are congruent
7-All angles are congruent
8-Diagonals bisect the angles
9-Opposite angles are congruent
For the Parallelogram I chose the following properties:
1-Opposite sides are parallel (both pair)
2-Opposite sides are congruent
3-Diagonals bisect each other
8-Diagonals bisect the angles
9-Opposite angles are congruent
For the Rectangle I chose the following properties:
1-Opposite sides are parallel (both pair)
2-Opposite sides are congruent
3-Diagonals bisect each other
5-Diagonals are congruent
7-All angles are congruent
8-Diagonals bisect the angles
9-Opposite angles are congruent
For the Rhombus I chose the following properties:
1-Opposite sides are parallel (both pair)
2-Opposite sides are congruent
4-Diagonals are perpendicular to each other
6-All sides are congruent
8-Diagonals bisect the angles
For the square I chose the following properties:
1-Opposite sides are parallel (both pair)
2-Opposite sides are congruent
3-Diagonals bisect each other
4-Diagonals are perpendicular to each other
5-Diagonals are congruent
6-All sides are congruent
7-All angles are congruent
And for the trapizoid I chose
5-Diagonals are congruent ( but ONLY IF IT IS ISOCELES)
OK, all correct. Your note on the trapizoid makes it correct, I am not certain if the instructor wants a condional answer.
