im trying to post something but it says I cant because youre not allowed to post internet addresses but I don't have any in my post please help.

You likely have a www in the text.

nope read it over and over .is that the only thing it could be because I really need to post this question.

I've had that happen once before when I first started posting here and could never figure out the problem, to be honest.

I wish I had advice. Just confirming that has happened to me as well.

Matt

If you're experiencing an issue with posting on a specific platform and it is giving you an error message stating that you cannot post internet addresses, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Remove any www or http prefixes: Even if you don't have a full internet address in your post, sometimes including a www. or http:// can trigger the error. Double-check your post and remove any instances of www or http to see if that resolves the problem.

2. Check for hidden internet addresses: It's possible that there might be hidden internet addresses or links within your post that you're not aware of. This can happen if you copied and pasted content from another source. Review your post carefully for any unfamiliar or out-of-place text that could be interpreted as a web address.

3. Contact the platform's support team: If you've already checked and none of the above suggestions resolved the issue, it may be beneficial to reach out to the support team of the platform where you're trying to post. They can provide specific troubleshooting guidance and help you determine the cause of the problem.

Remember, without specific information about the platform or the content of your post, it's challenging to identify the exact cause of the issue.
