Homework Help: Math

180 ml of a mixture of water and alcohol with 90% alcohol concentration is mixed with 70 ml of pure water. what is the alcohol concentration of the new mixture?

Do the following:

1) Find out how many ml of alcohol was in the first mixture. (What is 90% of 180?)

2) Take that amount and divide it by 250 ml (180ml + 70ml)
