Homework Help: HELP HELP SCIENCE

Mrs. Browns class is studdying how the path of the suns crossing the sky changes during the day.Each hour a pair of student goes outside to a square Mrs. Brown painted on the ground or sidewalk.One student stands a ruler upright in the center of a painted square.The second student lines up the edges of a large sheet of white paper with a second painted mark on the sidewalk or ground and traces the shadow produced by the ruler.The paper is then posted in the classroom alongside the tracing made by the hour before.At what time will the shadow be shortest?

A. 9:00 AM
B. 10:00 AM
C. 12:00 PM
D. 2:30 PM

Well im sorry but i really realy dont get this question well i was thinking though it might be 9:00 AM or 12:00 PM.

The shadow will be shortest when the sun is at its highest point in the sky. What time of day is that?
