2r+4=10

Well r=3 so that means 2xr=6 and 6+4=10. Hint: whenever a number and letter are close together you have to multply thme like 2r.

The value for r is indeed 3! Another way to think about this problem is to start by subtracting 4 from both sides of the equation. Whatever operation you do to one side of an equation you must do to the other side as well. Once you do that operation, then divide by 2 on both sides. That's another way to solve for r! To check, just substitute the value for r back into the original equation. It always helps to check your work!

I hope this will help.
