Solve by completing the square

2x^2-4x-11=0

My answer: x = (2+/-sqrt 26)/(2)

Problem #2

Solve by using the quadratic formula

x^2-4x-60=0

My answer: x = (2+/-sqrt 16)/(2)

You did not do it completeing the square. Please show work.

ON the second b^2-4ac is 16+240. How did you get 16 out of that?
