What kinds of problems might exist in the Western Cordillera region for farming and transportation?

If so, try the following sites. This might also refer to the U.S. But it might also mean Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.

So, first of all identify WHICH Western Cordillera you mean. Then analyze any problems that might exist in a remote montainous area with respect to transportation and farming.
