When would a straight-line graph be applicable in a real life situation? I can not think of any?

or could you apply this to the drinking age?

You can purchase and drink beer once you are = or greater than 21 years old?

Im I thinking on the right page?

Straight line graphs are often useful:

Mileage charts vs fuel consumption.
Number crates vs number oranges packed

and so on and so on.
