Problem #3

the posted speed limit for trucks along national route 3 is 35 MPH. how many kilometers will a convoy cover after 3.7 hours on the road traveling at the posted

Problem # 5

IF the formula to figure volume for a cubic yard is V=(L)(w)(H), what is the formula to determine volume for cubic foot?

My guess is: V=(L)(W)(H)(12INCHES)

#3)find Miles=? Km then multiple by 3.7

#5)1 yard= 3 feet, so divide each L,W,H by 3

#3. 1 mile = 1.61 Km

Multiply the latter by 35 and then by 3.7.

#5. A cubic yard is 3 x 3 x 3 or 27 cubic feet. You can do as

**Meg** suggests or divide the product of the three by 27.

I hope this helps a little more.
