Homework Help: Social Studies

Posted by Jessica on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 9:45am.

Education is a privilege grantes to some, not a right granted to all. Do you agree or disagree and why?

Please note that we don't do students' homework for them. Our tutors try to give you the information to help you complete your assignment on your own. (Also note that nowhere in the US Constitution is education mentioned, either as a right or a privilege. That whole issue was left up to the states.)

Once YOU have come up with a response to YOUR question, please re-post and let us know what you think. Then someone here will be happy to critique your work.

=)

so far i only have this;Education is a privilege granted to some, not a right granted to all. I have three reasons why I disagree with that saying; I think that everyone should be able to have an education if they want one, I also think that people should not have to go to school if they don’t want to, and last but not least I think that people should have to at least go to school until 5th grade so they can do at least some thing with their life. Some people like to read and write so they deserve a chance to get that education.
