how could I put the Word Count on my research paper?

If you are using Microsoft Word, it's pretty easy.

Once you have finished the text of your research paper, but before you add the title and works cited pages, have the document open, go to the menu called Tools, and click on Word Count. Voilà!

If you are using another word processing program, you'll have to go to the help menu (or press the F1 key) and search for this topic.

To put the word count on your research paper using Microsoft Word, follow these steps:

1. Finish writing the text of your research paper, leaving out the title and works cited pages for now.
2. Keep your document open and go to the menu called "Tools" at the top of the Word window.
3. Within the "Tools" menu, click on "Word Count." A window will appear displaying various statistics about your document, including the word count.
4. Take note of the displayed word count and proceed to add your title and works cited pages to your research paper accordingly.

If you are using a different word processing program than Microsoft Word, the process may vary. In such cases, you can refer to the program's "Help" menu, usually located in the top toolbar, or press the F1 key to open the program's help documentation. From there, you can search for the topic of "Word Count" to find instructions specific to that program.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
