Can someone help me with this?
Is this a simple sentence or a fragment?

We knew that we would lose the game and the opportunity of a state championship.

It is a complete sentence, but not a simple one.

It is a complex sentence We- subject, Knew verb, That we would lose----- noun clause - direct object.
