how many high students allow students to pay for school lunch?
how much the income has to be in order not to pay for lunch?

The guidelines vary from state to state, you have to go to your school to find out. Family size has a big impact on it, as well as the number of adults in the household.

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. Here is the site on the National School Lunch Program:

http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Lunch/AboutLunch/NSLPFactSheet.htm

Please remember that there is no "free lunch" anywhere because "someone" pays!
