Homework Help: frankenstein

In Mary shelley's frankenstein, did frankenstein believe in democracy?

However,NOW the term Frankenstein has come to have an anti-democratic connotation.
It is now understood to mean "trampling over those who oppose". This does not mean that in the book that is what Frankenstein wanted to do. He looked after the less fortunate. You will need to decide whether his "intentions" or his "physical problems " are what guided his nature.
