1.Find the median of these numbers:

3, 8, 4, 16, 10, 12

Wouldn't the median be 9?

2. Find the mode of these numbers:

1, 2, 1, 5, 3

Wouldn't the mode be 1?

The median would have equal numbers of entries above and below. 9 is correct

The mode is the number that occurs most often. 1 is correct
