Homework Help: Math-Proportions

My math question says-
1 1/2:9 = x:18
Now I gotta figure out the missing number [x]...I have 3 guesses on what answer the missing number [x] is!
Either-
A)2 1/2
B)3/4
or
C)3
Which one is it?

1 1/2:9 = x:18
1 1/2/9 = x/18
x = 1 1/2*18/9
x = 3
