The book had some nice features, such as: a hard-bound cover, a ribbon for a bookmark, and the author's signature.

The only error is in the verb tense. I assume the book is still in existence, so you'd use the present tense -- has.


In addition, you don't need the colon after "such as" -- no punctuation at all after that phrase.

    On Saturday March 29th the refrigerators will be cleaned out. If you have anything in there that you do not want thrown away, please make sure to take it home on Friday.
