Which tense (simple or past) do I use to describe a hotel I visited last month?

For example:
I stayed at the Paris hotel with my parents last month. The hotel has (or Had?) a replica of the Eiffel tower.
Thanks

present tense, has, because even though you are no longer at the hotal, the replica has not vanished into mid air. it is still there. so it would be has.

Actually, when you are talking about a specific time in the past, such as last month, you should use the past tense to describe events that occurred during that time. In this case, you would use the past tense to describe your stay at the hotel and the presence of the replica of the Eiffel Tower.

For example:
"I stayed at the Paris hotel with my parents last month. The hotel had a replica of the Eiffel Tower."

By using the past tense, you are indicating that the events took place in the past and are no longer ongoing.
