Homework Help: Chem in relation to Beuatiful's question

Posted by Ms. J on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 11:57am.

The question says Sufuric acid reacts with Aluminum hydroxide by double replacement.
I have the reactant side I just need the product side because I need to know does aluminium replace Hyrdrogen, really confused

hydroxides react with acids to form a salt and water.

Products are aluminum sulfate and water.

So it is H2SO4 + Al(OH)3====>Al2(SO4)3 +HOH
