Homework Help: math,bobpursly,

Posted by jas20 on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 8:45pm.

4x-2x^2+4x^3 from 4x^3+x-3x^2

4x^3+x-3x^2
-( 4x-2x^2+4x^3)
then changing signs and rearranging terms.
4x^3+x-3x^2
-4x^3-4x+2x^2

answer after ADDING the above..
-3x - x^2
so for the answer isn't it the same as what i had

-x^2-3x doesnt' x^2 goes first then -3x
