I need help solving this:
I usually could do this yet i have completely forgotten what i need to do seeing as there is a number infront of the x^2
This equation is of the general form
a x^2 + bx + c = 0
The solution is always
x = [-b +/- sqrt (b^2 - 4ac)]/(2a)
= [1 +/- sqrt (1 + 288)]/12
= [1 +/- 17)/12
= 3/2 or -4/3
The equation could also have been factored into
(2x - 3)(3x + 4) = 0
a)Write the prime factorization of 3600 using exponets
b)write the prime factorization of the square root of 3600
