The perimeter of a triangle is 195 mm.If the lengths of the sides are consecutive odd integers,find the length of each side.

what steps do i need to do in order to get the answre?

Perimeter= L + L+2 + L+4

solve for L. That is the short side. THen add two for the next side, and add two again for the last side.

x = first odd integer
x + 2 = second odd integer
x + 4 = third odd integer

Therefore:
x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 195

Solve for x. Don't forget to list all sides!

-6 -6
3x=189
divide by 3
on both sides
and you get x=63
