is the connotation of "rose" positive? why?

Which "rose" are you referring to?

noun (the flower)

verb (to get up)

The noun, rose, is generally positive, except in the Wars of the Roses.


so what would i write for why its positive?

A rose is a beautiful flower and has been celebrated as such throughout history.
