Homework Help: Science --HELP PLEASE

I need to write a hypothesis for a lab
ex. I think that ionic compounds will be soluble in water because the polar molecules in H20 cause the compound to break apart and dissolve in the water.

but another part is the appearance of ionic and covalent compounds

help please!!
