Homework Help: pre-algebra

Posted by summer on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 4:43pm.

write an inequality with the same meaning as -5 ¡Ý y

would that be -5 ¡Ý 5 ??

This looks like greek to me.

my sign changed when I posted my question, I had -5 is equal to or greater than Y

my answer was Y= -4 but i think i got it now it should be Y= -11 not -4 right ?

-5 >= y

There is no way to tell what y equals.
